She has assisted him in India multiple times since. She is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist working one on one with individuals treating diseases from an Ayurvedic perspective. She treats diseases through herbal medications, diet, routine management, lifestyle alterations, Ayurvedic body therapies, Yoga and Meditation practices, and spiritual counseling. She makes all herbal medications herself. She has a retreat center, Vedya Siargao, in the Philippines where she holds Yoga and Ayurveda retreats.

“I was always fascinated with the mind and the different variations outside of the physical world. Early on, I was very drawn to spirituality, different religions, and cultures. What drew me to Yoga was that it is experiential. You have to go through a process to truly understand. When I first started practicing Yoga, there was this feeling and sense of “I’m home”. This inner connection gave me freedom to explore and inspired me to always do my best in every situation. Ashtanga Yoga has been the backbone of my life which led me to open Mysore Las Vegas. As a practitioner of Ayurveda, I work with patients on building healthy routines or treatment of diseases. Immersing myself in other cultures through traveling and living abroad led to the creation of VedyA Siargao. Our eco-friendly resort is now a home where I also hold Ayurveda and Yoga retreats. Two things I’ve learned- it is what we do on a daily basis that is the greatest determiner of our health and nature is our greatest teacher and the best medicine for us all.”

JENNIFER KNOX

KPJAYI AUTHORIZED LEVEL 2

Through injury Jen found yoga in 2001. As she began to learn about how to help her own body, she dove in to learn more, becoming a massage therapist, and a personal trainer. Forever a student. She continues her studies traveling yearly to India to practice under the guidance of Sharath in Mysore.

Jen has been teaching group and private classes throughout Las Vegas since 2006. She believes in empowering others to stay curious, to take ownership and learn about how their own body moves and works.

One of the most beautiful aspects of practicing ashtanga yoga is developing the personal responsibility and discipline this practice builds within us. Challenging us all to be fully present in this experience of life.

Recognized through yoga alliance as a 200ERYT and YACEP certified. In August 2022, Jen was blessed by Sharath Jois to teach Ashtanga Yoga.
